These popular leases on our game-rich properties are highly sought after by both in-state and out-of-state trophy whitetail deer and quail hunting sportsmen. In fact, we maintain a waiting list for groups wishing to hunt on our two pristine, conservatively grazed, South Texas ranch divisions.
Beginning December, 2008 our family ranch partnership will offer a few limited weekend hunt packages for small groups of 4 to 6 whitetail deer hunters on the prime deer habitat pastures of the El Ebanito Ranch just a short drive from Hebbronville.

The Hunt
A typical hunt weekend for the group begins with a Friday afternoon check in at one of the local hotels of your choice, then a short drive to the ranch headquarters to meet with our family member guides. At the ranch, you will complete any payment due and finish up paperwork.
The first afternoon is spent with the ranch guides scouting the pastures and corn feeding the senderos around the elevated all-weather single and double blinds that your group will hunt for the next 2 days.
Saturday and Sunday mornings you should arrive at the ranch before daylight to be transported to your blind for the morning hunt. Your guide will pick you up sometime before noon and you will return to your hotel for lunch and a rest before returning to the ranch about 3:00 PM for the afternoon outing. Your guide will pick you up a little after dark for the return to your hotel and restaurants in town for dinner.
Monday morning is reserved for loading up the game that you have harvested. If you wish, we can help you arrange for local professional processing of your game including caping out of animals to be mounted by your taxidermist.
Each hunter may harvest one mature buck of his choice, plus one whitetail doe (Note: a wounded buck must be counted as a harvested animal). In addition, one coyote, one bobcat, and one javelina may be taken with no limit on the harvest of non-native feral hogs.
The introductory price for the weekend “trespass rights” to hunt El Ebanito Ranch and for the limited guide services is $2650 per hunter.
C.W. Hellen Ranches requires a $500 non-refundable deposit per hunter in order to reserve your hunt weekend. Hotel, meals, game processing and hunting license are the responsibility of the hunter. Please have your rifle sighted in before arriving for the hunt and bring ammo, binoculars and appropriate clothing and footwear (snake leggings or boots are a good idea)
